SERVICES

BOAT, TRAILER & ENGINE STORAGE

HRB Marine offer boat, trailer & engine storage at our secure facilities in Helford. All boats are tarpaulined and can either be placed inside or outside our marine workshops. Marine engineers can also be given access, with our permission, so that all types of marine servicing or marine repair work can be carried out on boats & trailers.

Secure Boat Storage Inside £2 per ft per week + VAT

Secure Trailer Storage Season (Apr – Oct) £200 + VAT

TOWING & LAUNCH SLIP FEES

HRB Marine can offer a towing and launching service using one of our fully insured vehicles. For any long distance towing, trailers must be in good condition and have been fully serviced within the previous 12 months. We offer a launching and recovery service from our private slipway on Helford Passage beach up to a maximum length of 7.5 metres (25 feet). All launch or recoveries must be booked in advance where we can also advise on tides and timings. For smaller dinghies and rowing boats hand launching from our slipway, no advance booking is required just slip fees payable at our kiosk.

Towing is charged at our hourly labour rate of £60 + VAT

BOAT GUARDIANSHIP

HRB Marine offer boat guardianship undertaken by our highly experienced & qualified marine team for peace of mind when away. Tailored packages to suit your boats including, but not limited to, Check mooring lines before & after storms, battery health, bilge levels, set up anti-seagull deterrents and clear prior client boat usage (24 hour notice required for cleaning and storing seagull deterrents), start / run engines and take boat on short journeys to ensure all systems working, fuel runs, check rigging & sails stored securely.

ANT-FOUL & CLEANING

HRB Marine offer boat antifouling and general boat cleaning including pressure washing, essential to optimising your boats performance. We generally only antifoul boats pre-season, but often pressure wash hulls mid or through the season at customer’s request.

Antifoul with Hemple Hard Racing £25 per ft + VAT

Antifoul (first time) Hemple Primer & Hemple Hard Racing £38 per ft + VAT

Pressure Washing at standard labour charge £60 + VAT per hour.

BOAT TUITION

HRB Marine offer boat owner tuition. If you or your partner would like to improve your boat handling skills & learn new skills to make your boating experience safer & give you more confidence, then make a booking via our fully qualified and highly experienced RYA qualified instructor. Skills taught but not limited to,

Passage planning & safety, boat handling, leaving & coming alongside, picking up mooring buoys, anchoring, man overboard, turning in a confined space, travelling at speed, rough weather handling

Boat tuition charged at standard labour rate £60 + VAT per hour

RESPOND & ASSIST

Depending on location and nature of the problem HRB can respond & assist in the event of mechanical breakdown. Several times during 2023 season we were called out to recover vessels that had experienced mechanical failure. Preferred method is towing to safety of mooring or marina.

Respond & Assist £120 + VAT call out plus our standard hourly labour rate £60 + VAT per hour.
